ANTHONY QUARANTA,
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Throughout his career, Anthony Quaranta has worked with a variety of both private and publicly held companies. Yet, no matter the size or type of business, he recognized a consistent “disconnect” which significantly limited success: the inability to synergize the corporation’s marketing efforts with its business development and sales tactics and strategies. Thus, in 2000, he founded Q Group, a sales and marketing consulting firm whose core mission is to provide strategic marketing that supports and complements an effective business generation process—a process that delivers a quantifiable return on marketing while maximizing an organization’s success.
With the Q Group, he has assembled a team consisting of hands-on strategic marketing and communications professionals with decades of experience in business-to-business and business-to-consumer corporations. Through Anthony’s vision, they have guided several organizations from launch to repositioning through the development and execution of strategic marketing action plans. The team’s diverse background enables Q Group to provide turnkey advertising and promotion services as well, including creative design, web marketing, media planning, copywriting, public relations, research, and exhibit and event planning. All delivered under the guarantee of measurable results to their clients.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Anthony’s first venture into the corporate sales and marketing world was with Consolidated Foods, a Fortune 1000 conglomerate of food and paper products. His sales acumen resulted in being awarded Salesperson of the Year in just his second year. This success encouraged Anthony to start his own company, CompuForm Ltd, a provider of paper-based marketing and business process documents, which he founded in 1983.
As a leader in the print and graphic arts industry, Anthony has developed innovative products and designs throughout his twenty-five year career. He is one of a select group of Certified Document Consultants (CDC) and was a member of the CDC Board of Directors for six years where he helped maintain the high standards required for accreditation. Additionally, Anthony served on the board of directors of the Document Management Industry Association, which represented over 50,000 members of the Graphic Arts & Communication Industry.
Anthony has also parlayed his talents to business consulting. He’s spent ten years as a member of TEC International (now Vistage), where he gained his valuable business experience and insight, forming relationships with many of Long Island’s top executive talent. Additionally, Anthony has been active in various philanthropic and charity efforts, serving on boards and committees for organizations such as the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes, and New York State Special Olympics. As member of the Board of Directors for the Brooklyn Philharmonic, as well as a major supporter, Anthony, along with President, J. Barclay Collins II, helped revitalize the Philharmonic from a financially struggling organization to a world-recognized artistic foundation. Anthony currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Maria Regina Nursing Home, a 200+ acre facility which provides care for the elderly.
